• The Towel Wearers

This is a study of John chapters 13 to 17 and takes a close look at the intimate thoughts and emotions of Jesus before his crucifixion. These passages begin with a parable in action where Jesus is watching the feet of his disciples. John sees in this event two very deep and remarkable meanings. First, he sees the evidence and demonstration of the unchanging love of Jesus for His disciples. The second movement concerns Judas, and John. See's in the act of foot washing, a demonstration of the truth, which is in Jesus, of the remarkable passion which strips away all pretense and hypocrisy, and reveals things exactly the way they are.

  • America In The Bible

Throughout this  Book, Dr Bill Roberts shares how closely America is linked spiritually to Israel. Long before America was ever thought of, the nation of Israel was destroyed and its people scattered. God knew that in the end times He would again return to dealing with His Jewish children, and in order to do so, they would once again need to be a nation. America has played an instrumental part in the rebirth of the nation of Israel. But did you know that hundreds of years earlier, it was the Jews who played instrumental parts in seeing that the United States of America was born? We are a unique nation, with a unique, divinely appointed job to do. We are called to take God’s message to the nations of the world, and when that job is done, our time on the earth will be done. America, more specifically, Christian America, could find itself in the Bible as what I believe are the new husbandmen of God’s vineyard.

  • Components of worship

Worship can be so exciting, refreshing, and uplifting. Now, a lot of that depends on what is done up on the platform. But I am convinced more of it depends on what you and I do in the pew. How we come to worship will determine how we leave it. My love for worship has taught me over the years that if you want God to lift you up in worship, then you must first come humbly, come sincerely, and come believing God.

  • Changing The climate

What do you value most in life? What would you be willing to sacrifice everything for? Is there anything? Most of us would have sung that hymn all to Jesus I surrender, all to Him I freely give, But how true are those words to us as we sing them? God has a purpose and plan for every person and for Him to be able to use you to His fullest desire, each of us have to prioritize what matters most. In other words, we need to clarify our values, weigh up what is important to us, and then bring them into agreement with our actions.

  • understanding covenant

To be able to understand God’s plan of redemption, it’s important to know that the Bible is made up of two covenants called the Old Testament and the New Testament. All of God’s blessings with the human race revolve around these two testaments. God established His first covenant with Abraham and the 2nd Covenant with Jesus. The word Testament means Covenant, And the word covenant comes from a verb meaning to cut, suggesting an incision from which blood flows. And God used that covenant to redeem mankind. The word covenant is the strongest word we can use today to bind two parties to fulfill the obligation of an agreement.

  • the cup of blessing

If we do not discern the body of Christ rightly, we are pronouncing judgment upon ourselves when we partake of the bread and wine. That is, If we participate in the ritual, assuming it fulfills our obligation to commune with Christ, we have deceived ourselves; We remain deprived of true life. The substitution of rituals for reality has repeatedly deprived men of redemption and salvation. The. Lord said, the life is in the blood, And if we commune with Him, we are joined in one body under the head, and His life’s blood can flow through us.

And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense for everyone who asked you a reason for the whole. That is in you, with meekness and fear.

Sharing Jesus with others should become a natural expression of walking with Him. Personal relationship with Jesus begins when we admit to God that our way is wrong. Then we accept Jesus as the only way to God period, from that point, our relationship with Christ should grow deeper and deeper. Worship is given solely for God’s glory and honor. He is worthy of praise and worship whether or not we receive anything ourselves from Him in the worship time. But because of Hs amazing grace and love for us, He comes to us, and we feel His presence. Things happen when He comes, He reigns on us, delights over us, and quiets us. His love and healing power change our lives, and we gain a new understanding of who He is, and learn how to hear His voice so our relationship is strengthened. Worship is essential in our relationship with God. Therefore, it is critical that worship leaders and musicians are trained on how to bring a congregation into His presence.

  • the revelation of betrayal

Jesus’ disciples should have been confident that they would never betray Him. But the disciples were not naïve enough to believe that they were super Christians. They realized that what the apostle Paul said was true of them also. Paul said, I know that nothing good lives in me, that is my sinful nature. This is something that we need to realize about ourselves as well. Before we stand in all of what Judas did, do not be surprised at it. For God reveals that all of us has a Benedict Arnold and a Judas inside of us, our sinful nature, which wants nothing more than to betray Jesus for money or fame and hand him over to his enemies.
